Money can settle everything; the exact words that my boss told me during a phone call. I immediately felt disgusted and failed to utter any word. That happened two months ago while me and my wife were having our lunch on a Saturday. The call was on a mandatory machinery inspection, a simple inspection that rarely a problem and if there is any; that is why they hire me. I am the advisor and yet none of the advises are heard and followed. They create a problem from a non-issue and that has been the case for the entire time I have been working here.

That day solidify my intention in hunting for a new job elsewhere.

I had been searching for another job since February but at that instance, I felt I must quit for the sake of my mind. Working with an organization with no integrity is a no-go for me. Integrity is part of my job in keeping people safe and they have the audacity to tell me about shortcuts. I have been going to a number of interviews but none has succeed and will be attending another one on Thursday. I think my 3 months notice period scares peoples off.
