Sharing my thoughts in this corner of the web.
Might be uninteresting.
Its that time of the year again, where i felt the need to have a live website/blog. Its a little bit different now though, as this current blog is published through Blot. I like it as its just feels ‘light’ to use.
I have been using only Wordpress for the last 10 years since I first start learning about having a webpage. I created a few free themes and sold a couple, which I am proud of though I dont have any backup of it. My free themes got a lot of downloads back then but I cant remember what was the domain name for my old site.
For the record, my code sucks and messy but its functional. I am only good with CSS and HTML and thats it, I learned it when I was a teen and just throw some mashup PHP codes for my wordpress themes.
I read about Blot (i like how simple it works) last week and decided that I need my blog to be live as it had been in the local server since beginning of the year. I like how its function, I write something on my phone and upload it to dropbox. Moving my content is easy as I dont write that much.
Converted my Wordpress’ theme by forking the existing Blot template. It is based on Mustache template so its quite easy to implement as it is logic-less; making it easy to learn and understand, atleast for me.
